THANKSGIVING SERVICE
led by 1stUUPB Members

Introduction

Hymn: #188 Come, Come, Whoever You Are

Prelude: With a Little Help From My Friends (P. McCartney & J. Lennon)

Welcome and Announcements

Lighting the Chalice Flame: Lighting the chalice flame on Thanksgiving is a reminder of our many gifts for which we are grateful.
We celebrate together with those who embrace Thanksgiving as a day to honor the gifts of family, friendship, abundance and security. We celebrate together, joining our voices to hold aloft our sacred blessings.
For those who hold Thanksgiving as a day of sadness, who mourn for the hurt and loss of native peoples, who are lonely, who grieve the loss of those dear and beloved, we hold your heartache and sorrow so you do not have to carry the burden alone.
