Social Justice Minute: Medicare for All – Judy Kraft

Responsive Reading: The Gift of Patience
(Minister): When we are overwhelmed with the world and cannot see our way clear,
(All): Grant us the gift of Patience
When life seems a struggle between frenzy and exhaustion
Grant us the gift of Patience
When today seems a punishment and tomorrow a torment,
Grant us the gift of Patience
When the line seems too long and the light too slow to change,
Grant us the gift of Patience
May we learn how to cope like those who live one day, one moment at a time through pain, suffering, and sorrow,
Grant us the gift of Patience
(All): Spirit of Life, grant us the patience to extend grace to ourselves and to others. Help us to take a deep breath, to count to 10, and to stop to smell the roses that help to make life beautiful and fragrant. Grant us the gift of Patience. Amen.

Moment of Silence & Candle Lighting
