Prelude: Change the World (T. Sims, G. Kennedy & W. Kirkpatrick)
Welcome
Lighting the Chalice Flame: Come, Come, Whoever You Are
Come, come, whoever you are,
Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving.
Ours is no caravan of despair.
Come, yet again come.
Affirmation: (in unison)
Love is the spirit of this Congregation and service is its law. This is our great covenant to dwell together in peace, to seek the truth in love and to help one another.

Hymn: May the Love We Share
May the love we're sharing
Spread its wings and fly
Across the earth, and bring new joy
To every soul who is alive.
May the blessings of your grace
My love shine on everyone
And may we all see the light
Within, within, within.

Sermon: A Wish for 2019, Rev. Dr. Dan Lambert
Hymn: O Siem
O Siem, we are all family.
O Siem, we're all the same.
O Siem, the fires of freedom.
Dance in the burning flame.
Sing O Siem all people rich and poor.
Sing O Siem those who do and do not know.
Sing O Siem take the hand of one close by.
Sing O Siem of those who know because they try.
And watch the walls come tumbling down.
Sing O Siem all people of the world.
Sing O Siem it's time to make the turn.
Sing O Siem a chance to share your heart.
Sing O Siem to make a brand new start.
And watch the walls come tumbling down.
Fires burn in silence,
Hearts in anger bleed.
Wheel of change is turning
For the ones who truly need.
To see the walls come tumbling down.
Extinguishing the Chalice Flame:
(in unison) We extinguish this flame, but not the light of truth, the warmth of community, or the fire of commitment. These we carry in our hearts until we are together again.
